In this article, I will discuss the lineup briefly and purely from my own perspective.

It Feels Like a Template...

Beyond feeling “a bit late for this,” it has a template feel... haha.

Still, it firmly covers the “Just include these and the crowd will get excited!” bases, so it looks cost-effective.

That is fine too. From a marketing perspective, it is absolutely right.

I explain why in detail in the article below, but for much of the audience, any DJ will do.

Even so, what was announced was only five acts—the drip-feeding is incredible, haha.

How many more phases until everyone is announced?

Update: The final lineup below was announced on August 1.

Do Not Expect Much, Even If the Lineup Is Late or Weak

That is because it is optimized for Japan's scene.

Do not treat it on the same level as the European scene.

Enjoying it from the perspective of 'How can I have fun at a festival optimized for Japan's scene?“ is far more meaningful.

  • Many audience members” subconscious belief that any DJ will do
  • A mature, period-drama-like feel with no room for greater excitement
  • Limits to the freedom of the event environment
  • Limits rooted in musical and cultural education
That is because of all these factors.

Reading through the articles below should help you understand the details.
