[Closing] Shibuya TRUMP ROOM and Daikanyama UNICE [Quality Venues of the Heisei Era]

Shibuya's TRUMP ROOM will temporarily close on July 13, and Daikanyama UNICE will close on July 26, apparently.

Daikanyama UNICE closes on July 26.

Both are quality spaces I frequently visited in the 2000s.

It had a striking interior you wouldn't easily find in other clubs.

A fond memory of TRUMP ROOM is playing there within, I think, fewer than ten gigs after my DJ debut in 2005.

There were only three performers, so I remember playing a three-hour long set from opening.

Daikanyama UNICE was like a second floor for UNIT.

UNIT has hosted DJs such as Paul van Dyk, Ellen Alien, Damian Lazarus, who are in demand worldwide both now and in the past. As a supporting space, UNICE was irresistibly comfortable.

The set I heard here by Jimpster was fantastic.

In the past few years I've only visited a few times for trance events, but UNIT will surely continue holding quality events.

Let’s get togather for the regacy. @trumproom_official FRYDAY THE 12TH. Our TRUMP ROOM is closing. After coming home from studying abroad, starting work in Shibuya and launching a gyaru fashion brand, I had no friends in Shibuya, but TRUMP was a place where Hayao would talk to me and I could meet all sorts of people. When Hatchi, Aiko and I started Cabaret, Hayao lent us TRUMP-affiliated venues to practice, brought yakitori and encouraged us. As Moana writes (swipe and read it), TRUMP ROOM wasn't wonderful because it sparkled, and it wasn't a good place because lots of famous people were there. It was special because Hayao protected it at all costs. Let's all party our hearts out at TRUMP's final night!!!! When we look back someday, we'll definitely think it was a magical night. And I think this will probably be the last time I attend this kind of event. Whether TRUMP ROOM has been part of your life or it's your first time, please, please join everyone to witness its final night!!!
