[Finally Arriving in Japan for the First Time] Amelie Lens's Japan Event Confirmed: Appearing at Contact Tokyo on Saturday, March 23!

[Techno] Accutron × Reboot Feat. Amelie Lens

Known for releases on Drumcode and Second State and for running her own label LENSKE, Amelie Lens—the Belgian DJ & producer who is currently among the hardest to book—will apparently DJ on Saturday, March 23 at Shibuya's Contact Tokyo.

*Update: She apparently will also play at ALZAR in Osaka on Friday, March 22.

The Tokyo organizer, which has previously brought over her Second State labelmates Pan-Pot, is ACCUTRON.
It is now one of Japan's leading techno events.

I saw Amelie myself at ADE 2017, and she has an aura that colors the atmosphere in both the booth and on the floor. It feels as though she has raced to stardom over the past few years, but she has also earned praise from Richie Hawtin and Adam Beyer, and there is none of the artificial feel often associated with female DJs who appear out of nowhere. She is someone with real ability.

People have long hoped for her to come to Japan, so entry restrictions are inevitable, and it will be a legendary night.

Also coming to Japan as a support act, apparently, is an artist known for releases on Amelie's label LENSKE: Farrago.
